Thank you for a wonderfull weekend. Terri and I were on Little Round Top getting some pictures Saturday morning and a bus full or students from Utah wanted to get some pictures of themselves with us. They were full of questions! Someone was feeling up my wool frock coat behind my back, I thought it was silly! Whith sincere best wishes.

Just wanted to say thanks to all of you... We had a great time this past weekend. Our ladies enjoyed the tea, while the men of the battery really enjoyed " The Cigars and Brandy" session. Mr. Coe's did an outstanding job again this year. His closing statements really hit home, He needs to put that portion of his "talk " in print so more in the hobby can hear the cold facts on what we are facing. Thanks Again.

THANK YOU to everyone who worked so hard to organize and run last weekend's Reenactor Appreciation Weekend! I came down from Massachusetts and I just wanted to let everyone know how much I appreciated everything all of you did.
That had to be a tremendous amount of work to plan, organize, and put on all of the events. I really enjoyed everything. Thank you very much!

Wow! It went as planned--PERFECT. I shall write a note to Norma and Wayne. Among those in attendance was an Officer of the Victorian Society, Falls Church, Va. I had the pleasure of her company on the dance floor. She was thrilled and amazed.
May I suggest for next year that it be conducted in the All Star Sports Areana?

What a fantastic time was had at this year’s Reenactors’ Appreciation Weekend. This was my second time - last year was my first, and it occurred just a few months after I began doing CW reenactments. It was my wife’s first time, and she thoroughly enjoyed it!
We both have been doing medieval reenactments for a goodly number of years, and in my opinion the camaraderie does not approach that of the 1860 reenactments. Please keep up the good work!

I must congratulate you on a very successful weekend. I have attened the previous ones and this one was great despite the weather. I look forward to bringing my family and members of my unit down again. My unit sergeant registered us I am grateful that he did, judging by the turn out at the Cigars and Bandy and the evening Ball.
I have to say that the ball was a blast... the music was fantastic!! Everyone was polite and it beats the Remembrance Day ball hands down. We were sorry that it had to end.
I must single out the speaker for the Cigars and Brandy. The British Officer was superb in both his address, under difficult circumstances, and his impression was flawless in the extreme. I was impressed with his handling of the few "Uber-Confederates" and a rude "General Grant" who tried to take over the event. His standing ovation from both blue and gray was well deserved.
I am aware that the planners and those who put their work in the event are often forgotten and I thought I'd pass this along to you for a job well done. Once again, your handling of the event made it a success and I have heard nothing but praise from your fellow reenactors.
Thank you again!

I wanted to send a personal thank you for having this weekend for us (re-enactors) for the 3rd year. We were treated very well and were happily welcomed in every museum and shop we visited '(except one shop on Baltimore Street who argued about honoring their own coupon)'. Again, thank you for having this for us.

Many, many thanks to Nancy, Caralyn, Judy, David Coe and all other members of the planning and organizing committee.
This was beautifully done and I enjoyed myself immensely. It was well worth the 400 miles I traveled to attend. I can only assume the Tea and Fashion events went as well as the ones I attended.
Special thanks to David for his two talks that were not only informative but entertaining as well. (Even though we all tried to poison ourselves at the Cigar and Brandy event.) Also to Caralyn who I know worked her rump off building the website and for the dances at the Ball which was much fun. Nancy, I enjoyed myself hanging at Memories Past but where did you guys hide my vest?
Thank you all again and looking forward to next year,

I just wanted to drop a note to express my appreciation for all the time and effort that went in to making this weekend as much fun as it was. Despite weather that was not the best, we got to some museums that some of us had never seen, enjoyed some good food and discounts and went to what was probably one of the best Civil War balls we have ever attended!
‘One’ minor glitch, one of our couples was not on the pre-registered list, strange since I sent all the requests in one single e-mail. However, this was no problem as there was still room at all the events we wanted to go to so your very efficient staff took care of us politely and promptly. Anyway, thanks again for a GREAT weekend. Hope that this will happen again next year.
