Friday Night
Welcome Reception
6:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the Wyndham Gettysburg Hotel.
Attend the Welcome Reception at the Wyndham Gettysburg Hotel to sign-in and pick up your event pass. The pass is your weekend ticket along with your period attire. Walk-ons are welcome at any of our pre-registered events provided there are still seats available. The non-reenacting public is also welcome to attend. We will have special tickets for our welcomed guests. Visit our registration page to learn more. Don't forget to stop by The Guild Hall inside the Wyndham and see what its purveyors have to offer. (You will still need to provide a pre-paid RSVP as a walk-on to hold you seat at the tea.)
WWII Big Band Dance*
7:00 pm - 11:00 pm at the Wyndham Gettysburg Hotel.
Doors open at 7:00 pm, the band begins at 8:00 pm,
$5.00 donation at the door.
After you check-in at the welcome reception, stick around to enjoy an evening with The Gettysburg Big Band, brought to you by The Avenue Restaurant and the Wyndham Gettysburg Hotel. If you are a WWII era reenactor, please feel free to show off your WWII period style! However, any era attire is acceptable. Registered reenactors and WWII Veterans are free.

As a reenactor one of the most important things we need to do is remain "in period" when talking with the public. Join Ronald Hawkins as he discusses "How to Give a First Person Talk" while in period. Mr. Hawkins has been in the "hobby" for many years and enjoys helping other improve their presentation to the public.
Ladies Tea
1:00 pm - 3:00 pm at the 1863 Inn of Gettysburg (formerly the Holiday Inn Gettysburg)
Have tea with the ladies! Come join us for lively conversation and guest speakers. We'll have tea and light snacks. Nancy Lare will discuss “Camp Life for Women in Reenacting.” And Paul Gregorwich will talk about “Belonging to the Army” the life of camp followers in the 1700s.” Join us for a fascinating afternoon. Gentlemen and the non-reenacting public are more then welcome to join us.
NOTE: To hold your seat at the Tea, there is a fully refundable reservation fee of $8.00. Checks must be post-dated by February 24, 2010. (See the Registration page for more details)
Cigar and Brandy Social
1:00 pm - 3:00 pm at The Pike
Come join us for a few hours of fun and entertainment. We’ll have free cigars, brandy a normal prices and a guest speaker. Meet the Oliva Cigar Co. who graciously provides us with wonderful cigars each year. David Coe, will talk about “The Trent Affair - Would It Have Led To War?” The Cigars & Brandy was sponsored by The Pike and the cigars are provided through the Gettysburg Cigar Company.

Come and experience "What Life Was Like in 1865" through the eyes of Bridget, a servant for the Dr. Samuel Mudd family.
She tells stories of her life, of the Doctor and Mrs. Mudd, along with their children, and of that dishonorable man, Mr. Booth.
Free Time
4:30 pm - 7:00 pm is available for you to eat dinner on your own and get ready for the Grand Ball.
Victorian Grand Ball
7:00 pm - 11:00 pm at the 1863 Inn of Gettysburg (formerly the Holiday Inn Gettysburg). Join us for an evening of Victorian dancing, fun, and good times with the Susquahanna Travelers. Light snacks will be offered and a cash bar will be available. Dancing begins promptly at 8:00pm.
