We want to thank everyone who attended Reenactor Appreciation Weekend in 2009. We have had another successful year thanks to you. We hope you will keep us in mind, mark your calendars for March 5, 6, 7, 2010 and come back again next year. Remember all eras of history are welcome from the Revolutionary War to the present. And you don’t have to be a reenactor to attend the weekend, the general public is more than welcome to attend as well for a small donation.
Registration is now open! We have made a number of changes to the registrtion process. Please read carefully especially if you plan to attend the ladies tea. We do not have a waiting list available for non pre-paid reservation.
Don't forget to visit our The Guild Hall out at the Wyndham this year. The Civil War Blacksmith and Lady Ellen's Fine Ware will be available for your period shopping needs!
Event Update:
It looks like we've made it. We are still a little shy of our sponsorship goal and if we have to sacrifice an event it will have to be the Victorian Ball on Satuday evening. At this moment we are still $300-$400 short and unless we can raise that money, we cannot pay a band and caller to play for you all. Keep an eye on the website and we'll keep you updated.
For more updates see our Event News page.
Call for speakers and entertainers.
We are accepting bids for a Victorian-style band to play the Civil War Ball and speakers of any era who are understanding to our plight.
If you would like provide a seminar, workshop, lecture or talk for any reenacting era, this year or next, feel free to contact us with you ideas in the form of a proposal or current CD if you are musicians. Please understand, however, we are a not-for-profit organization and funding is extremely limited for 2010. E-mail us at graw2010@reenactorsrock.com with your ideas, questions, or concerns.
